MY NAME IS SOPHIA

I’m an artist and a writer. I’m originally from Vladimir, Russia, but last 17 years I lived in many different places all over the world. Starting from 2008 I work as an illustrator with different publishing houses, brands and advertising agencies.

In different periods, I was engaged in figurative painting, graphics, abstraction, collage, as well as performance and video art. I have held a number of personal exhibitions, both figurative painting and graphics, as well as abstraction and performance. My works are in the collections of Russian, European and British collectors.

I strive to constantly experiment and develop my style in order to speak with the audience in a language that is understandable to them, but personal and authorial.

The afterhours I use to create science fiction books, stories, games and graphic novels.
